Flint-native Jonathan “JQ” Quarles could not sit back and let the water contamination crisis plague his hometown. He took it upon himself to find a solution to bring pride back to the city, provide jobs, create a positive environmental impact, and generate a recurring source of funding for water improvement projects. So…JQ created SolAir!
With SolAir, a portion of all revenue will be given to Flint Water Fund for citywide healing. JQ chose SOURCE as SolAir’s water supplier. SOURCE is the first-of-its-kind renewable water technology that harvests water from just the sunlight and fresh air. No electricity, no pipes. It’s a solution that puts water quality ahead of all else while offsetting harmful CO2 in our environment.
How does it work? It all starts with water from the ambient air around us is pulled through a fan into SOURCE hydropanels where water absorbs onto a special material. The pure water then desorbs into an air-tight system and where the liquid water then flows through a proprietary mineral block into storage and is materialized. The drinking water then ready for dispensing into your cup. All of the hydropanerls connect together to monitor production quality to give you the best possible drinking water.
