A Time of Change: 100K Ideas has MOVED!

Happy April! As we entered this month, there have been a plethora of changes happening. With the addition to the warmer weather, and the start of spring, a lot of other changes have occurred for us here at 100K Ideas! In this month’s blog, we will update you on all the happenings within our organization, as well as a way for you to contribute to what we have in store.

First off, if you haven’t heard already, 100K Ideas moved! Previously residing in the Ferris Wheel Building, we have relocated right next door into the first floor of the DryDen building. Though this transition is definitely bittersweet, moving out of the building we were established in, our team is excited about the possibilities that this new space can provide for our organization. The room this new space provided has allowed us to begin plans to build out a new resource center! With a few avenues for this new addition, we are excited to have the ability to provide more services and accessibility within the Flint & Genesee County community.

With that said, as we plan for the creation of this new center, we are looking for feedback from the community on the resources they are in most need of, when it comes to accessibility in their entrepreneurial endeavors. We currently have a survey circling around that allows small businesses, community members, local entrepreneurs, and more to let us know what they would find most beneficial for us to add to our new location.

We would love for you to provide your own feedback! To do so, complete the survey, here.

Though we have a lot in the works, our regular services are still available! As all of us at 100K Ideas finalize this move and plans for our new main hub, our Office Hours locations will be the best place to continue to meet with us about your ideas. Operating out of the LatinX Technology and Community Center, Flint Development Center, and Berston Field House, we are still available to offer all the services we provide to help the innovators and entrepreneurs in the area. Lastly, the final change that is happening within our organization: our hours! Though they aren’t changing to drastically, many of you may be familiar with our previous schedule that had a rotation in availability. Our new normal working hours, starting May 1st, will be: MONDAY-FRIDAY | 9AM-5PM

We hope you are all as excited for this new transition in our organization as we are! Stay tuned to our socials, and make sure to subscribe to our email list (via the button at the top of the screen), to stay up to date on all these happenings as we continue to progress in this new journey. As always, thank you for all your continued support, we couldn’t do it without you!
